Sof held a phone conversation with the American leader, where Trump made sure he could come to a meeting.
“His presence will be very important,” the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, mentioned that the summit, especially the NATO secretary General Mark Rutte, said, from the beginning of the US president’s participation.
Despite the fact that the purpose of Trump’s visit was not officially declared, he was expected to participate in major discussions at the summit, which will be held on June 24-25 in The Hague.
Remember that the Netherlands said they wanted to see as a guest by President Vladimir Zelensky, but the United States opposed it. In Washington, they declined.
NATO is not sure if the President of Ukraine is invited to the summit. Secretary General Mark Rutte explained that the summit program is not yet final.
