The number of Ukrainian migrants abroad has increased by 100 thousand people and up to 6.9 million.
Since the beginning of 2025, another 100 thousand people left Ukraine. This has been proven by the results of monitoring the major economic events of Ukraine, published by the Ministry of Economics.
According to the UN Agency for Refugee on April 17, 2025, 6.918 million refugees from Ukraine were recorded worldwide (6.358 million refugees were recorded in Europe and 0.56 million refugees outside Europe).
Compared to data until December 16, 2024, the number of refugees in Europe increased by 104 thousand.
Most Ukrainians in the following countries:

Germany – 1.443 million people,

Poland – 999.7 thousand,

Czech Republic – 401.4 thousand,

Great Britain – 254.0 thousand,

Spain – 235.7 thousand,

Italy – 171.0 thousand,

France – 70.1 thousand.
In addition, 1.2 million refugees were recorded in Russia (until June 30, 2022), in Belarus – 44 thousand refugees (until March 31, 2025).
Based on a UN Agency for Refugee survey in some European countries, from October 2024 to April 2025 (6471 interviews, 99% of Ukraine respondents, of which 77% of women, the average age of respondents – 44 years) received the following information about migrants interviewed:

Age of 18-59 years – 36% of women, 17% of men;

The largest number left in I and II quarters of 2022 (28% and 14%, respectively);

Before leaving from Ukraine – 52% of working, working in the country of stay – 42%;

Before leaving from Ukraine – 5% unemployed, unemployed in the country of stay – 16%.
Remember that the demographic crisis in Ukraine exacerbated during a full -scale invasion of Russia. War led to a sharp reduction in the number of youth.
