Chief among them is the reform of the Constitutional Court. Moreover, all laws must be of high quality, so as not to be re-voted later.
Before the end of the year, the parliament will adopt the necessary laws necessary to start negotiations on joining the European Union. The head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk wrote about it on Facebook.
The main activity on the European integration track in the session hall will start in September.
“We clearly know how we can fulfill the seven requirements that Ukraine received almost a month ago. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is preparing the necessary list of bills, in particular, we are talking about the reform of Constitutional Court – a competitive selection system should be introduced. We should include international standards in the matter of fighting money laundering, amend the law on oligarchs, etc.,” wrote Stefanchuk.
He also noted that the parliament closely cooperates with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers and the European parliament.
“What is important for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine? Then do not vote again. Quality will come first. Efficiency will follow. Nobody needs paper reforms,” concluded the head of the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier in Ukraine they said that they will do everything to quickly implement the necessary plan that will allow Ukraine to start negotiations on joining the European Union.
Recall that the European Council granted Ukraine the status of a candidate for joining the European Union.
