“It is very important that Romania develop and we all work together in our region and Europe,” said the President of Ukrainian.
He also emphasized that Romania is a country, “where many depend on security matters.”
“We are very grateful for his contribution to the lives of our people. It is important that Ukraine’s support will continue. Romania understands how important the struggle is for freedom and justice,” the Ukrainian leader.
A scientist is a mathematician
Nikushor Dan was born on December 20, 1969 in the town of Fegerash. His father was a worker, and his mother was an accountant. During the school years, Nikushor showed unique math abilities and became a local celebrity.
In 1987, he won the international mathematics Olympiad in Havana (Cuba), which earned the maximum number of points.
Nikushor Dan reiterated his success next year – in Kanberra (Australia), after which the entry into the Faculty of Mathematics of Bucharest University is a completely logical step.
In 1992, Nikushor received a French state scholar to study with the elite Parisian école Nandale Supérieure, famous for the 12th Nobel Laureates. After the conclusion, Dan entered the magistrate at the University of Paris, and then defended his dissertation by the doctor at Algebraic Geometry in Sorbonne.
In 1998, Nikushor Dan made a deadly decision – to return to his homeland. In Romania, he decided to use the experience gained in France to change and modernize the local higher school. Dan became one of the founders and the first administrative director of Bucharest Higher School. He is also a professor of mathematics of the Romanian Academy of Sciences.
In 2020, Dan became the mayor of the Romanian capital. He arranged things to the finance of the city, began the fight against corruption and was released a lot of “decided” and “kumovyov”, was not afraid to remove municipal companies if he saw that they could not change and work hard.
