The head of the Pro -Russian Party of the Alliance for the Unity of the Romanians (AUR) George Simion recognized the defeat of the President’s election and turned to his voters. The politician said this in a video message published on his Facebook page on Monday, May 19.
“I want to greet my opponent Nikushor Dana, he won the election, this is the will of the Romanian people. I am grateful to more than 5 million Romanians who trusted me,” Simion said.
At the same time, he urged his supporters not to give up and “continue the struggle for justice, Christian values, a traditional family and freedom.”
