On Saturday, a telephone state of state secretary Marco Rubio and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on May 17.
The conversation argued that the American side initiative was allegedly exchanged opinions following the results of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul.
“Rubio accepted the exchange of war prisoners and in the preparation of each side of his vision in these conditions needed to enter Truce, emphasizing Washington’s readiness and contributing to the search for negotiations,” the message said.
In this regard, Lavrov noted the positive role of the United States, allegedly contributing to the fact that Kyiv eventually accepted the proposal of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to continue negotiations with Istanbul.
“Confirmed (Lavrov – Ed.) Moscow’s readiness to continue cooperating with American colleagues in this context,” the Russian Foreign Ministry mentioned.
Officials also affected some other international and regional problems, but the details were not disclosed.
Note that to this day the State Department has not confirmed the reality of Rubio’s conversation with Lavrov.
Earlier on Saturday, the media reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin refused to discuss the peace plan with special US President Steve Vitcoff President, who had already approved Ukraine and Europe.
