The President of Ukraine approved the composition of the delegation for Russian negotiations in Istanbul.
President Vladimir Zelensky signed a command in creating a delegation to participate in the Russian negotiation process in Turkey, planned on May 15-16. The corresponding order has been published on the State head website.
Defense Minister Rustem Umarov led the composition of the delegation. This includes:

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armed Forces Alexei Shevchenko,

First Deputy Head of Foreign Intelligence Oleg Lugovsky;

Representatives of the general staff of the armed forces, as well as the wind forces and the Naval and the Ministry of Defense,

Zelensky’s command also provides that the head of the delegation, which is in agreement with him, could change the delegation, and approved the secret directives of negotiations.
Remember that Ukraine and Russia can hold the first direct negotiations open in three years. Parties will discuss the possibility of a truce within 30 days.
Russia sent a low -level delegation to Istanbul, led by the assistant to the head of Kremlin Vladimir Putin Vladimir Medinsky. In 2022, he was the leader of the Russian negotiation group, when the Ukrainian and Russian delegations also met in Istanbul.
