In February – March 2025, Kiis studied how Ukrainians relate to AI.
64% of Ukrainians do not use AI at all, 12% of them – for the first time they hear this word.
Only 17% are regular users: 12% – daily or almost daily, 5% – several times a week.
The most active are young people 18–29: 54% of them are regularly used.
The higher the well -being, the higher the share of the user. Only 4% of people who do not even have enough food are regularly used. Among those who can afford valuable things, this figure is 27%, and among those who can afford almost all – 39%. Oddly enough, the formation has less affected the use of AI, the region also affects the insignificant.
The urban population is much more active: 21% in cities against 9% in villages.
Men are more active than women (23% versus 13%).
45% of respondents believe that AI is risks and can lead to disaster. 39% see this path to progress.
In Ukraine, the use of AI is gaining only an impulse, a significant part of the population is still unknown or not using these technologies. Only 17% of respondents regularly use AI, while in the United States a year ago 55% of the population regularly communicated with AI.
However, at the same time, Ukraine is ahead of Russia. Ukraine is much more permanent users (17% compared with 6% in Russia) and much less than those who have not heard about AI (12% compared to 41%). We need to constantly increase this difference – this is the key to technological dominance, 一 is in the release.
