President Vladimir Zelensky congratulated the Ukrainians on embroider day and family day. He published the appropriate Telegram post on Thursday, May 15.
“Today is about very important: our roots, family. The meanings that are united this year. In every pattern of Ukrainian embroidery – the strength of the genus, tradition, history. The strength of many people, thanks to where we are all. The connection sent between the generations and where it needs to be protected and appreciated,” the head of the state who wrote.
Zelensky emphasized that “we will surely save and move Ukrainian, our native to the next generation.”
“Happy embroidery day and family day, Ukraine!” He added.
As you know, on the third Thursday of May, Ukraine traditionally celebrates the embroidery day. This day is not official, but it is celebrated not only in Ukraine, but also across its boundaries. In recent years, in many cities today this march and embroidery parades have been held.
