Former First Deputy Secretary of the Council for National Security and Defense was detained in Spain.
This was announced today, May 14, the press services of a specialized anti -corruption prosecutor’s office.
On May 14, 2025, the former first deputy secretary of the NSDC, accused of SAP and Nabu, was detained in the territory of the Kingdom of Spain by local law enforcement agencies, the state of losses totaling 17.44 million UAH, SAP said.
It is noted that the problem of extracting the detainee to Ukraine is currently being solved.
During the preliminary investigation, it was found that the NSDC indicator used the power and the official position provided to it, contrary to the interests of the service, in order to get excessive benefits from the structure in which he and his close persons have a share of property, namely the PJSC “Bogdan Motors”.
SAP reminded that in October 2019, former NSDC deputies were informed of suspicion of committing a crime in accordance with part two of art. 364 of the Criminal Code. On July 2, the indictment of the case was sent to the wax for consideration on the merits.
In November 2023, the accused left Ukraine. In April 2024, the college of wax judges filed a request for the SAP prosecutor and wanted him, added to SAP.
The name of the detainee in the office of the prosecutor is not named. According to Ukrainian Pravda, we are talking about Oleg Gladkovsky, who served as the first deputy secretary of the NSDC from 2015 to 2019.
