Armenia refused to buy Russian Federation weapons in favor of Indian

Yerevan ended New Delhi defense contracts worth more than $ 1.5 billion, and Paris- $ 250 million.

Armenia refused to buy Russian weapons and began buying weapons in India and France. This is reported by the publication Vedomosti.

Armenia’s final defense agreement with Russia for $ 400 million was signed in 2021 and has not been fully fulfilled. This has been confirmed by the Russian Council for International Affairs (RSMD) Russian-Armenian contact with the current stage.

In 2022–2023, Yerevan ended defense contracts from New Delhi worth more than $ 1.5 billion, and with Paris in 2023–2024-for $ 250 million.

In India, Armenia bought:

  • 214-mm reactive systems most

France will place Armenia:

Remember that Nikol Pashianan said Armenia could no longer rely on the Russian Federation as a major defense and military partner. He later emphasized that Armenia was not acting as an allies of Russia in the war against Ukraine.
