French actor Gerard Depardieu was found guilty of sexual violence. In particular, he made an obscene touch of a woman during the shooting of the film “Green Windows” in 2021.
The actor received a conditional prison term within 18 months, reports Reuters.
The Department denied the prosecution. Earlier, he said that women and the media want to damage his reputation.
The 76-year-old lawyer claims that women’s accusations were “false”, and one of them allegedly “tried to make money”, demanding 30,000 euros from the actor as compensation. In general, the actor is accused of sexual harassment of at least 14 women. This is the first question that will come to court.
