Former Marine Corcodier Mitchell Hatchcraft has dreamed of 13 thousand kilometers to fulfill his children’s dream – which has risen to the highest point of the planet.
Former Marine Corchod Mitchel Hatchcraft completed an epic triathlon 13 thousand kilometers long, ending at the top of Everest, reports The Guardian.
He started his journey on September 14, 2024 to British Davra and was completed on April 16, 2025 at a height of 8849 meters, spending 240 days on travel.
The traveler sailed 34 kilometers by LA-channel, overcame 11.9 thousand kilometers by bicycle from France to India, ran 900 kilometers from India to Katmandu, and then another 365 kilometers to foot to the main Everest camp. Climbing the top of the mountain ends on April 16 and 7:20 pm.
“It was more attractive -it was so I thought. Even though my dad lost 11 years ago, he was with me every step. It was really hard. It was the really hard thing I had done. But I wouldn’t be happier and proud that I completed this epic journey,” Hatchcraft said.
On the way to the top, he was accompanied by a three -Year -old gold retriever of Baddy, who ran near and even rode a bicycle with the owner, raising the weight of the transportation of 32 kilograms. The journey was full of dangers: a taxi hit him, the wild dogs were chased, and in Serbia they hid a gun under the barrel.
Hatchcraft has assigned his journey to collect 500 thousand pounds for the London Charity Organization, helping veterans use nature and animals to support their mental health.
