On May 12, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law on ratification of the NEDRA ONGRA agreement.
This is indicated on the Council website.
On May 1, Ukraine and the United States signed an unfair agreement, that is, the creation of an investment reconstruction fund between the United States and Ukraine, which will attract global investments in our country. Rada Verkhovna ratified it on May 8.
According to the agreement, which Ukraine and the United States signed on April 30, Kyiv, together with Washington, will create an investment fund for reconstruction, which will attract global investments in the country. Full property and control remain for Ukraine. All resources in Ukrainian territory and territorial waters will belong to Ukraine. This Ukrainian state determines where and what to produce. Administration remains in Ukrainian property – this is enshrined in the agreement.
The fund has been created 50/50, and Ukraine will manage it together with the United States. None of the parties will have a predominant voice, and this will reflect an equal partnership between Ukraine and the United States, as the parties declare.
The agreement does not provide for changes in privatization processes or in the management of state -owned companies – they will continue to belong to Ukraine. Companies such as Ukrnaft or Energoatom remain belonging to the state. The agreement does not mention what kind of Ukrainian debt to the United States is consistent with the Ukrainian constitution and does not change the European integration course.
At the same time, the agreement provides for another document – an agreement on partnership with limited limited liability, the content of which remains unknown. Despite the promises of the Prime Minister and the President to provide the deputies with all additional documents in the intergovernmental contract, the unit showed: the agreement on a limited partnership is not yet ready. Only after the ratification of the main document, it will be signed by the International Financial Corporation of the Development of the United States and the Ukrainian Agency to support the state private partnership.
