The materials were delivered to Argentina in June 1941 with Tokyo. The documents indicated that these were “personal things”, but the customs were vigilant – the package was very large. They accidentally opened five bags and found Nazi propaganda inside: cards, photos and other materials.
Then the bags were transferred to the Supreme Court. The German embassy in Argentina wanted to be returned to Tokyo, but the judge decided – everything would remain in the country. Until 1944, they did nothing, and then Argentina stopped relations with Nazi Germany, and the bags were simply forgotten in the court of the court.
