Yesterday, May 6, the prosecutor of the specialized prosecutor’s office against corruption, decided to complete the preliminary investigation in the case regarding the former deputy head of the president and the owner of the construction company.
Currently, the detectives of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau on behalf of the prosecutor opened the materials of the protective party for familiarization. About this today, May 7, reports SAP Press Service.
As part of the preliminary investigation, it was found that in 2019-2021 a senior official legalized illegally acquired funds, financing the construction of private houses with a total area of more than 300 square meters. M, located in the recreation area in the Odessa district, – said in SAP.
SAP notes that the official personally controlled the construction rate, communicating with the owner of the construction company, determined which construction work is performed, and for their payment, he provided the owner of the construction company almost 6.5 million.
Despite the fact that the built house actually belonged to a senior official, the ownership of him was first issued to the company, and after notification, he was registered for a person, ”said SAP.
In addition, SAP and Nabu found out that:
- In 2022, a senior official turned to the mentioned owner of the construction company to help in the adoption of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the decision to cancel the results of the tender in which another company was defeated and ensure the victory of his company. To do this, he suggested that the official performing construction work in his house on the coast of the sea totaling 100 thousand dollars. USA;
- The high official agreed with the proposal and, using his official position, fulfilled his obligations. The relevant state bodies subsequently made the “necessary” decisions.
It was also found that in 2020–2022, the official one acquired assets worth 17.1 million, ”said SAP.
It is noted that this is about:
- two cars (Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen);
- two motorcycles (Honda and BMW);
- three parking spaces in Kyiv;
- Apartment in prestigious LCD displays in LVIV;
- Earth in transcarpathy. ”
The vast majority of acquired property was released by his brother, but the person retained the right to completely get rid of her. The Honda motorcycle was registered with a friend, but subsequently the official redeemed him for himself, ”SAP said. – However, it turned out that neither official income nor savings were sufficient to buy them. The difference between the value of the property and human funds is 15.7 million.
The actions of the former deputy head of the President of Ukraine are qualified as part of the 1st part of art. 368–5, part 1, 2 tbsp. 209 and part 4 art. 368 of the Criminal Code (adoption of an offer of illegal benefits in the amount of 100 thousand dollars and the legalization of illegally acquired funds), the owner of the construction company – within the framework of the 3rd Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (proposal for excessive benefits in the amount of $ 100,000).
We recall that yesterday it became known that for the former deputy head of the office of President Andriy Smirnov made 18 million US dollars.
