The investigative judge WACS partially satisfied the detective’s request to change the measure of restraint. This was reported by the “public” with reference to the lawyer Smirnova Inna Butenko.
It is known that in May 2024, Smirnov was informed of suspicion in case of illegal acquisition of 15 million US dollars. Law enforcement officers found that from 2020 to 2022 the official illegally acquired $ 15.7 million. Then Smirnov appeared two Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen cars, two Honda and BMW motorcycles, three parking spaces in Kyiv, an apartment in Lviv and land in the Transcarpathian region.
In this case, the official announced a new suspicion of legalizing illegally acquired funds and proposals for a bribe in a particularly large amount.
We recall that on April 28 it became known that the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court began consideration of a request for a change in the restraint of the former head of the presidential office Andriy Smirnov.
