France will transfer additional weapons with a high rating to Ukraine.
In 2025, 1 thousand 200 Aasm Hammer aircraft will be manufactured for the needs of the Armed Forces. This year, the French defense complex will produce 45% more aircraft than in 2024, when 830 such sets were produced. This was reported by Le Parisien.
It is noted that approximately 50 AASM units are transferred to the Ukrainian army monthly. In the United States, these bombs are called a “miracle -arrangement” that meets the needs of the armed forces in a modern war.
It is known that AASM (AASM-Sol Modulaire) is made by Safran and consists of navigation modules and reactive modules that are installed on a classic plane. This allows you to turn a regular warhead into a weapon with a high rating, capable of influencing moving and stationary goals, even in the conditions of active GPS mug.
AASM can simultaneously affect several targets at any height, and the combat part can weigh from 250 to 1 thousand kg. In Ukraine, these aircraft were integrated into the Soviet fighters of the MIG-29. They are also integrated with F-16 aircraft.
