Russian military losses in the war against Ukraine are gradually growing.
Since the beginning of a full -fledged invasion of the Russian Federation, in 2022 Moscow lost about 950,000 dead and wounded. And in the first four months of 2025, Russia lost about 160 thousand people. There is a tendency to further increase the number of losses. This is indicated in the British intelligence report for May 3, the British Ministry of Defense reported on the social network.
If such losses are preserved until the end of 2025, this will be the most expensive year of the war for Russia in terms of human losses, which continues to come to the annual increase in losses, the British emphasized.
The report also states that the losses of the invaders in April this year remain an average of very high daily rates at the end of 2024, but are still high in the general conflict.
Intelligence emphasizes that in 2025 the Russian Federation “could not constantly turn heavy losses into considerable successes in Ukraine.”
Recall that the days of the Armed Forces in one of the key directions of the front were destroyed by the Russian anti-aircraft missile system “BUK-M3”, the estimated cost of which is about $ 45 million.
