The British military, based on experience from Ukraine, adapted AR3 as a specialized form of electronic warfare.
The Royal Air Force (RAF) of Great Britain has adopted the Stormshroud’s new high-tech drone. Thus, it should increase the safety and efficiency in the operation of the aircraft. It was reported to RAF on their website.
Stormshroud was developed in the UK by the Royal Air Force Office, Catalyst from Defense Equipment & Support (De & S), Defense Science and Technology Laboratories (DSTL) and British Industries.
Stormshroud is based on the AR3 platform, developed by the British-Portuguese company Tekever, whose systems have proven their effectiveness in real operation, especially in Ukraine.
The British military, who relies on operating experience from Ukraine, adapted AR3 as a specialized electronic radio war tool, which included a variety of Britestorm loading from British Leonardo UK company.
The drone was run by the 216th squadron with the support of the Royal Air Force Regiment, which included regular Air Force military personnel, Royal Auxiliary Military Forces (RAUXAF) and other military personnel of the British Armed Forces.
Stormshroud is the first drone from the new family of Autonomous Interacting Systems (ACP), which can accompany Typhoon and F-35B fighters, prevent their monitoring and disable air air defense systems.
Keep in mind that the UK has successfully experienced microwave weapons to destroy the “flock” of rapiddestroid drones.
