The European Commission does not plan to continue the regime of autonomous trade measures (ATZ) for Ukraine (the so -called “rejection of a trading visa”), which currently operates until June 5, but will ensure a smooth transition to a new scheme when all the conditions for liberalization of trade liberalization will be registered in free trade between Ukraine and the European Union.
About this today, April 30, the representative of the European Commission Olof Gill said at a briefing in Brussels, reports European truth.
Jill emphasized that autonomous trade measures that eliminate most barriers to Ukrainian exports to the European Union will not be completely canceled – all parts of trade in trade between Ukraine and the EU will be recorded in a deep and comprehensive free trade agreement (GVZVT):
We intend to ensure a smooth transition to a new regime, where all trading agreements will be enshrined in a deep and comprehensive agreement on the free trade that we have with Ukraine.
Thus, we intend to make the transition that will allow ATP to end, after which all the parts of the liberalization will be programmed in DHWZVT, ”he added.
At the same time, Gill noted that “he cannot say when this process begins.”
But this will happen in the near future and will happen in a structured way to keep a place for doubt, – summed up a representative of the European Commission.
We are going to make sure that there is no need to refuse. We will present the process that, after the expiration of the ATZ, is the method in which we exchange with Ukraine on a bilateral basis, is completely integrated into our DHWW, ”he summed up.
