The Spanish system operator believes the cause of the blackhaut may be two cases of “generation connectivity” that occurred between one and a half seconds.
The Judge of the National Court of Spain Jose Luis Kalama began an investigation into a large -scale disconnection of electricity nationwide on April 28, in particular, if it was the result of cyber attacks, Bloomberg reports.
It was noted that Jose Luis Kalama appealed to the National Cybersecurity Agency and the Energy Network operator with the request to provide reports on how the Power Outage occurred. He also made a similar request to the Spanish police.
In a statement sent by E -mail on April 29 from the National Court of Spain, Kalama noted that even the reasons for electricity flowing are still unknown, “cyber terrorism is one of the possible causes.” That is why the investigation is necessary.
As you know, the Spanish system operator has already denied the Cyberastan version. Previously, the cause of Blackhaut could have been two cases of “generation connectivity” that occurred with a gap of one and a half seconds. After the first incident, the system recovered, and the second caused huge -scale shutdowns.
The company-operator of the national power supply in Spain believes the initial cause of disconces is a fall in the solar generation.
Remember that the large -scale blackout “covered” by Spain, France and Portugal on April 28. Millions -millions of people were left without electricity, serious disruptions in the work of transportation, communication, business and critical infrastructure.
According to Portuguese National Electric Company Ren, one possible cause of the problem was a fire in southwest France, in Mount Alaric.
At the same time, Spain considers the cyber attack version as one of the possible causes of large -scale disconnection of electricity.
