Romania raised the F-16 and Eurofighter fighters due to Russian drones attacking Ukraine.
One of the Russian drones that invaded Ukraine that night probably in a short time violated Romania’s airspace. It was reported to the Ministry of Defense of Romania on Tuesday, April 29.
At night, the Russian Federation troops caused a series of strikes of drones to civilian facilities and port infrastructure facilities in Ukraine near the border with Romania.
As a result, two F-16 Romania Air Force aircraft and two Eurofighter Italian Air Force aircraft took the air to observe and protect Romania’s airspace.
The Romanian radar monitoring system suggests the possibility that the trajectory of one of the Russian drones involved in the attack could cross the national airspace to a depth of up to 500 meters in the region of about 8 km east of Ka Rosetti village in Tulcha.
“The Ministry of the National Defense remains unstable in its condemnation of these attacks, conducted by Russia against Ukrainian civil and infrastructure, which is unfair and seriously opposed to international law,” the Ministry of Defense of Romania emphasized.
Remember that at night Russian troops raided Ukraine 100 with UAV shock. 37 drones were destroyed, 47 yet did not reach the target. As a result of the Russian attack, Kharkovshina, Donetina, Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev Region were injured.
