According to eyewitnesses, a bear appeared beside them. The girl in a panic began to flee, unable to control her balance on a narrow path to the ravine and fell to the lake from a great height. The Savior immediately reached the scene, but it was not possible to save Him.
Police launched an investigation to promote all the circumstances of the tragedy.
The incident became another reminder of the problem of the growing population of bear in Romanian Carpathians. In recent years, animals have been increasingly going to humans – on ski routes, roads and tourist routes.
