The Czech Republic has resources for sending another and a half million ammunition, the country’s defense minister said.
By the end of April, Ukraine will receive another 400,000 large -caliber shell as part of the Czech initiative to provide ammunition. On Sunday, April 27, the Czech Republic Minister Yana Chernokhova said in an interview with CNN Prima News.
He mentioned in a conversation with journalists in 2024, Ukraine received about 1.5 million ammunition of various calibers including the Czech Republic. According to the Czech Republic’s defense minister, in 2025, money will be provided for the initiative before the fall.
Chernokhova said to implement this initiative, the Czech Republic received additional funds from Canada, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, as well as other countries. He noted that Belgium had promised to participate in the project.
At the same time, the official did not name the number of ammunition, which would be transferred to Ukraine in 2025, and emphasized that he did not want to “limit himself to numbers.”
“We will deliver a lot of ammunition that we can get around the world. And we still have enough resources, so far these resources are about another and a half million,” Chernokhova said.
Earlier, Germany gave the Ukraine 30 missile for complex patriots. This was said by the German Boris Pistorius Minister of Defense.
