The US president has its own deadline for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.
In the USA there is a certain deadline to achieve peace between Ukraine and Russia. US President Donald Trump announced this while talking to journalists on Thursday, April 24.
The American leader expressed the belief that Kyiv and Moscow were both wanting peace, but they should sit at the negotiation table. “
“We’re waiting for a very long time. They should sit at the negotiation table. And I think we’ll take the world,” Trump said.
The US president emphasized that throughout the -Scale War of Russia against Ukraine, “5,000 young people” died every week, who had to be saved, and “he didn’t want to take much time.”
“But I think they are both (Zelensky and Putin – Ed.) Want to end the world. I believe in it. Many hate, many strong hate between them, many shame. But I think we will do this, I hope we will do it for many young people who have died,” Trump said.
The American president said he had his own deadline, which had to be achieved between Ukraine and Russia.
“We have a deadline. And after that, our attitude (at peaceful negotiations – ed.) Will be completely different, but I think we have a very good chance to do so (achieve peace – ed.),” Trump emphasized.
We reminded, earlier the media reported that the United States was transferred to Ukraine last week in Paris by a single -page document, submitted as a “final proposal” for peaceful regulating. Among other things, the United States is willing to recognize Russia’s control over Ukrainian Crimea and weakens sanctions against Moscow as part of a potential peace agreement.
President Vladimir Zelensky said Ukraine does not recognize Russia’s occupation of Crimea. In this regard, the American leader said Zelensky’s position was “involved in peace negotiations in Russia.”
