The criminal structure operated at the largest center for detention in Ukraine – the preliminary detention center in Kyiv.
Law enforcement officers revealed and eliminated the criminal structure in this center of detention, where there are about 2000,700 prisoners. He headed the Bang of the “hour”, which controlled some employees and doctors. Attackers organized drug trafficking, gambling, a demand for money from prisoners and beat. One of the prisoners died in the hospital as a result of beating. This was reported on April 24 DBR.
It turned out that the prison knew about the beating, but tried to hide it. To do this, they forged documents and isolated the victim without proper medical care.
On the eve of the staff of the bureau detained 13 suspects of involvement in the death of a person. Five prisoners, including Watch, were represented by suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 121 (the task of grievous bodily damage, which caused death) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The case also includes eight detention centers – inspectors, duty, doctors and senior buildings. They were informed of suspicions of:
- Part 3 of art. 365 – an excess of power or an official body;
- Part 3 of art. 367 – official negligence;
- Part 3 of art. 135 – leaving in danger;
- Part 2 of art. 139 – inability to provide assistance;
- Part 1 of art. 366 – maintenance of a fake;
- Part 1 of art. 358 – fake an official document;
- Part 2 of art. 28, part 3 of art. 27 – complicity in a crime by a group of people.
The suspect threatens up to 10 years in prison.

We will recall that at the center of preliminary imprisonment in Poltava, the staff of the institution mocked the person who refused to cooperate with the administration, violated the order or complained about the actions of the employees. For this, on the territory of the medical part, the prison equipped a special room, which was used as a torture chamber. Two observers were registered suspiciously.
