By going into negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow, it is necessary to “remove barriers,” Dmitry Peskov said.
Russia is ready for negotiations in Ukraine, but for KYIV it should be “legal clear barriers.” This was said by Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov in a commentary to Russian propagandists on Tuesday, April 22.
“At the request of the Ukrainian side, with the openness of the Ukrainian side, some steps may be taken to legalize these obstacles to the path of such contacts. If there is a readiness,” he said, answering the question of who such contacts will be made.
At the same time, he lied that Ukrainian authorities were said to be prohibiting negotiations in Russia.
Peskov added that Vladimir Putin repeatedly talks about his readiness to solve issues through negotiations.
“This is another repetition of such readiness,” he said.
Keep in mind that in October 2022, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a command that makes Putin negotiations, but other Russian representatives are possible.
In this regard, the Kremlin complained of Ukraine’s “intransigence”, as well as the fact that no one in Moscow was addressed on issues of “Ukrainian settlement.”
At the same time, the President of the Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the condition in which he would sit at the negotiation table with Putin.
As you know, on April 21, Vladimir Putin called for direct negotiations in Ukraine. Thus, he responded to Zelensky’s proposal to stop long blows with missiles and drones in civilian infrastructure for at least 30 days.
