Pope Francis’ funeral should take place within four to six days after his death, even though the exact schedule has not been approved.

US president Donald Trump and his wife Melania will visit Pope Francis’ funeral ceremony. On Monday, April 21, Trump wrote on his page on Social Network Truth Social.

“Melania and I are going to Pope Francis’ funeral in Rome,” the publication said.

Prior to that, the US president announced condolences related to Pope Francis’ death.

“Rest in the world, Francis! Take care of her and everyone who loves her,” Trump wrote.

The Pope of Roman Francis was hospitalized on February 14 with a respiratory tract infection at Jamelli’s Roman Hospital. Later, bilateral pneumonia confirmed and renal failure was evaluated. Since the beginning of March, the Pontiff condition began to develop, at the end of the month he was released from the hospital.

On April 21, Pope Francis died at the age of 88 at his home in the Vatican. The cause of death is a stroke.

The day before, he appeared before the believers on the event of Easter and proclaimed a message from the Basilica balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica to the Vatican.

Pontiff will be the first father of more than a century to be buried outside the Vatican.
