Passenger liner Boeing 737-800, who ran PS752 Tehran -Kyiv, who was crashed on January 8, 2020 immediately after leaving.
Iran appealed to the UN International Court with a lawsuit against Canada, Sweden, Ukraine and Britain, demanding the cancellation of the Council of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for MAU’s time. On Friday, April 18, the court service reported.
In the lawsuit, Tehran said the ICAO had no authority to decide on the MAU target authority, and that the voting method in ICAO was violated.
As it claims, Iran demands from court:
-
admit that thou have no jurisdiction in this case;
-
Exclude Great Britain from participating in the process;
-
Recognize the ICAO Council’s decision to legally improperly and cancel it.
Iran also said that the collapse of the Mau aircraft near Tehran was the result of a “human mistake” and that occurred “accidental” from the military.
The Boeing 737-800 of the passenger aircraft collapsed near Tehran on January 8, 2020 – it was shot by the Iranian Air Defense System.
In 2024, Ukraine, Canada, Sweden and Great Britain appealed to the Council with the request to consider Iran’s responsibility for this incident. Iran has tried to reject the jurisdiction of the Council’s jurisdiction over the complaint about the civil liner. However, Rada decided to favor Ukraine, Canada, Sweden and Great Britain and translated the case for consideration of the merits.
As you know, on April 16, 2023, the Iran court punished 10 in the military in the PS752 flight crash.
