The conspiratorial agent FSB-A 47-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation, who lived in Ukraine, was detained in Kyiv. He worked as a sound engineer of the famous radio station in Ukraine and in Parallel performed the tasks of the Russian special service.
This was reported by the SBU press service and the General Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation:
- The invaders used the agent to prepare a series of terrorist attacks in the center of Kyiv. To find potential goals, a person involved in parking near buildings of administrative forces;
- During the breaks between the records of the radio station, the Russian language bypassed the central streets of the capital and hidden SUVs, which he considered a car of the Ukrainian military;
- For a conspiracy, a person involved photos hidden, pretending to be saying on the phone, pressing him to his ear;
- After collecting information, the spy prepared a “report” for his curator, with whom he spoke through the messenger.
Subsequently, the Russian intelligence service planned to undermine the “lighted” cars using bookmarks and remote activation of home -made explosive devices, ”the SBU says.
It is noted that the intentions of the enemy agent were exposed in advance and detained when he conducted reconnaissance near one of the defense institutions of Ukraine.
On the stage, a man grabbed a mobile phone that he used for contacts with FSB and disguised photographs of objects, ”said SBU.
It should be noted that the detained Russians have been living in Kyiv for more than 10 years, where he worked in various media groups, including closer to prohibited pro -Kremlin parties. At the end of 2024, the FSB employee was released remotely, recruited and entrusted.
The detainee was informed of suspicion in the framework of the 3rd Art. 114–2 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized distribution of information about the movement or deployment of the armed forces or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine committed in martial law).
The attacker is in custody. He faces up to 12 years of confiscation of property. In addition, the issue of additional qualifications of criminal acts of a person is resolved.
