Lithuania introduced new restrictions for people with Russian Federation and Belarus citizenship

Citizens with a passport of Russia, Belarus and China will not be able to enter the military academic named General Jonas Zemaitis.

The citizens of Lithuania along with Russian, Belarusian or Chinese passports, as well as people without Lithuanian citizenship, will not be able to enter the military academic named General Jonas Zemaitis. This was reported by the Lithuanian Media LRT.

Article changes also require cadets to report any foreign citizenship they have.

If it is declared that the cadet has a citizenship of Russia, Belarus or China, he will be evicted or removed from the academy. They cannot complete training or become officers of the Lithuania’s armed forces.

If the cadet enters the academy, and his citizenship is subsequently added to the list of hostile states, he will automatically be ousted. Anyone who had a state of hostile state before entering and not reported it, was driven and obliged to pay for his training.
