In Donetsk in the area of Volnovsky district, Russian invaders shot at unarmed Ukrainian military.

According to operating data, on April 11, 2025, three military personnel served and combat missions in positions near the village of Rostoln Volnovatsky district. During the attacks, the invaders captured them. One of the unarmed Ukrainian military representatives of the Army of the aggressor state was shot from automatic weapons, the message was indicated.
A preliminary investigation was launched on a criminal process for the commission of a war crime, which caused the death of a person (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

The murder of prisoners is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and is qualified as a serious international crime, the prosecutor’s office says.
