The DPRK prefers “natural and technical help” from Russia in exchange for its support, the Kida report said.

The Russian war against Ukraine brought North Korea’s economy over $ 20 billion. We talk about the benefits of Pyongyang from selling ammunition and their military. This states a report by the Analytical Center of the South Korean Institute for Defense Analysis (KIDA), Newsweek reports.

North Korea receives the greatest economic benefits from the Russian ammunition, but the transmission of thousands of military to fight against Ukraine and the technical support proposals are also useful for the ruling regime of North Korea.

However, the report records that the losses are also significant: approximately 4,000 have been killed from 11,000, sent by North Korea to fight in the Kursk region.

The DPRK prefers “natural and technical assistance” from Russia in exchange for its support, including high weapons that help strengthen military potential and promote its strategic goals.

The Kida report was accompanied by a separate review by the Open Source Center (OSC) and Reuters, according to which North Korea sent more than 15,800 ammunition containers to Russia from August 2023 to March 2025.

The OSC and Reuters used satellite and detailed three -dimensional images to calculate 64 delivery of four Russian ships were probably brought from 4.2 million to 5.8 million separate ammunition from North Korea.

Remember that the North Korean military, fighting with the Russian Federation army in the direction of Kursk, learned the tactics of using drones and electronic warfare.
