The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine updated the approach to a medical examination of candidates for service in the National Police units.
From this moment, injuries or injuries obtained by our defenders will become a less obstacle to their service in the National Police.
Civil and veterans will be held by a medical commission in accordance with various categories.
For persons dismissed from service from injuries or diseases, adapted medical requirements were introduced to open their way to return to the police in column 4, including for senior positions from column 1 (the decision against each candidate will be made individually).
Veterans with an amputation of the hand or above the knee will also be able to serve in the police – for the first time this is clearly provided.
