In the battles for Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, about 2 thousand soldiers of the so-called “LNR” and about 8-9 thousand military personnel from the Russian Federation were killed, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine said.
During the battles for Lysichansk and Severodonetsk, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed approximately 11,000 occupiers. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov at a discussion organized by the Atlantic Council.
“According to unofficial estimates by the Russians, approximately 10-11 thousand occupiers died in the battles for Severodonetsk and Lisichansk,” the minister said.
According to Reznikov, this number includes nearly 2 thousand soldiers of the so-called “LPR” and about 8-9 thousand military personnel from the Russian Federation.
It was also reported that more than 20 thousand enemy soldiers were wounded, about 6.5 thousand of them – severe injuries, followed by amputation of legs.
Recall that in the center of Severodonetsk on July 14 a car with occupiers was blown up. Six people were injured.
