The Ukrainian delegation is located in Washington, where it holds a new cycle of negotiations under a mineral agreement.

The meeting of American and Ukrainian delegations under a mineral agreement was performed in a tense environment, communicating with antagonistic tones. On Friday, April 11, Reuters wrote reference to his own resources.

“The negotiation situation is very angry,” the agency’s interlocutor said and added that the prospect of a success in negotiations is not likely.

As the resource explained, the environment has become due to the “highest requirements” of the USA.

“The draft agreement assumes that the United States will receive the privilege of accessing Ukraine’s mineral deposits, and all revenue from natural resources will be sent to the general funds controlled by the American side,” explained the Reuters interlocutor.

One of the unexpected details found by the Ukrainian delegation in the document (the source called “Easter”) was the US request to move to the American control of the Russian Gazprom gas pipeline, which would go to Europe in the Ukrainian territory.

The agreement does not contain any security guarantee for Ukraine – a basic requirement from the Ukrainian authorities.

The Ukraine government hired a law firm Hogan Lovells as an external consultant by agreement.

Remember that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainian and American attorneys’ attorney teams are now working on an agreement with minerals along with the United States, the NATO issue is not and is not in this document.
