The State Bureau of Investigation said that Kulinich was declared suspected of:
- Part 1 Art. 255 (creation, management of a criminal community or criminal organization, as well as participation in it);
- Part 1 Art. 111 (high treason);
- Part 5 of Article 27 Part 1 of Art. 114 (assistance in the transfer or collection for the purpose of transferring to a foreign state, a foreign organization or their representatives information constituting a state secret).
The decision does not provide for the right to bail, the press service of the DBR reports.
On July 16, the DBR and the SBU exposed and detained a traitor to Ukraine, who until March 2022 headed one of the regional departments of the Security Service.
As part of the investigation of criminal proceedings, facts of cooperation between an acting SBU officer and representatives of the Russian special services were established. This information was also confirmed by the examinations conducted by the DBR.
Kulinich passed intelligence information against Ukraine to the Russian special services. In particular, the transfer of information constituting a state secret was documented.
The direct participation of the defendant in the activities of a criminal organization that was engaged in intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine was also documented.
