At the same time, Ukrenergo states that there is a need for rational electricity consumption – from the consequences of Russian shots and cooling, which caused a significant increase in consumption:
- A decrease in air temperature led to an increase in the number of consumers, which include electrical heating devices – fireplaces, radiators, air conditioners;
- In connection with the completion of the heating season by the decision of most local self -government bodies, since last week some generation objects that cannot produce electricity separately, without heat;
- The situation is even more complicated by cloudy weather in that part of Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of solar power plants.
Under such conditions, Ukrenergo calls for consumers to reduce the use of powerful devices and not include several such devices simultaneously from 8.00 to 21.00.
