Belgium is included in twenty countries, which is Ukraine’s largest donor based on population calculation.
Belgium has provided Ukraine military, aids and assistance for recovery over 2.2 billion euros from the beginning of an entire war in Russia. It was announced by the Ukrinform that there was a reference to the information provided by the Belgian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, April 8.
“Belgium is among Ukraine per capita’s largest 20 donors. Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia, our country has provided Ukraine worth more than 2.2 billion euros,” the report said.
It is indicated that outside of this value, 150 million euros are designed to be restored as part of the program to be contacted, conducted by the Enabel International Cooperation Agency. This program focuses on three strategic areas: energy supply and environmental construction, health and social protection, as well as education, skills and employment.
As mentioned, the aforementioned Belgian programs have been used to repair and restore schools, hospitals and energy facilities in Kyiv and Chernigov.
Remember that this morning, the Belgian government’s delegation arrived at Kyiv. These include Prime Minister Bart de Vaver, Foreign Minister Maxim Plasta and the country’s defense minister, Theo Frankin.
In March, Belgium was found to have an arm plan for Ukraine for 1 billion euros. The help includes funding for the purchase of ammunition, strengthening air defense and providing F-16 aircraft.
