The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced the next step towards Diya’s international integration.
A number of digital documents in the Diya application will be translated into English. We are talking about a foreign passport, driver’s license and certificate of registration. The change on Monday, July 18, was announced on the Telegram channel by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
“We will translate the international passport, driver’s license and certificate of registration. It is important that the license and certificate of registration receive international coding, which is used in the EU, USA and Canada,” he wrote.
Fedorov noted that this is another step towards the international integration of Diy.
He added that the team is finalizing the technical details of the development and will soon be released with a beta test.
Diya is a Ukrainian electronic public services service developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. It is a mobile application with digital documents and a portal with public services.
It was previously reported that about 10 new services and documents will appear on Diya’s application within a month.
It will be recalled that they plan to send subpoenas and decisions through Diya. On July 1, the Verkhovna Rada adopted on first reading a bill on legal proceedings in a state of martial law or a state of emergency.
