Russia scales the information operation against Ukraine.
This is warned by the press service of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
During the first five days of April, a new wave of information attack on Ukraine is recorded. The focus of the attention of Russian special services is to promote accusations against EU countries and the United States in the alleged reluctance of Kyiv to negotiate at the end of the war, ”the SPR says.
It is noted that in this way Russia is trying to shift responsibility to the duration of hostilities to Ukraine, creating a false image of a “peacekeeper”, which is supposedly ready for negotiations – but not with the current authorities.
SZR claims that in the framework of this information attack:
- Russian state and affiliated media (Grastpaps.ru, Sputnik, Vedomosti, War -UTPUT);
- Russia is also trying to get into the world information space to form the impression that “fatigue from Ukraine” has become a general trend and, thus, external pressure on Kyiv. To do this, it attracts a foreign proxy, which he uses under the guise of independent sources. Among them are Reseau International (France), Magyar Hírlap (Hungary), L’Antidiplomatico (Italy), Ert port (Slovakia);
- At the same time, there is a purposeful penetration into the Ukrainian information space, through the anonymous channels of the telegram, pseudopatriotic accounts of Tiktok, the content of YouTube, which imitates the opinion of Ukrainian military or “independent experts”. To provide large -scale campaigns, proxy resources are allowed by the same messages in different interpretations: in the form of the author’s columns, fake interviews, “analytical” blogs, graphics and videos on social networks. This approach creates the illusion of a multidisciplinary discussion.
