Norway began raising money for Bayraktar for the Armed Forces

The first 1,000 people who donated at least 250 crowns were reported to help choose a name for the drone.

The Norwegians, followed by the Lithuanians and Poles, decided to raise funds for the purchase of the Bayraktar TB2 drone for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Spleis reports.

Fundraiser organizers said every citizen can donate at least 10 crowns to Bayraktar TB2. So, they plan to collect 55 million crowns (about $ 5.5 million) and transfer them to the aid fund at the Ukrainian Embassy.

Recall that at the end of May, Lithuanian presenter Andrius Tapinas began the collection of five million euros for the purchase of Bayraktar UAVs for the Ukrainian army. The amount is collected in just a few days. As a result, Turkish manufacturing company Baykar decided to donate the drone. Part of the money collected by the Lithuanians went to buy ammunition for Bayraktar, and the rest of the money would go to support Ukraine.
