Eutelsat provides high -speed satellite internet services in Ukraine through a German distributor for nearly a year, and the German government has provided funding.
Germany for some financial time of accessing Ukraine on Satellite Internet Network, managed by the French company Eutelsat and which is an alternative to the Starlink mask terminals. This is said by the CEO of Eutelsat Eva Bernek, Reuters report.
According to Berneki, Eutelsat provides high -speed satellite Internet in Ukraine through a German distributor for nearly a year, and the German government has provided funding.
He clarified that in Ukraine is currently less than a thousand terminals connecting users to the Eutelsat network.
“Now we are working to get from 5 thousand to 10 thousand terminals quite fast,” Bernek said, adding that it could have happened “for a few weeks.”
As for whether Germany was funded by additional terminals, EutelSat spokesperson Joanna Darlington said the opportunity was discussed.
“We still do not know how the EU is together or every country will separate additional efforts,” he said.
Remember that American businessman Ilon Musk said Starlink is a major factor for the Ukrainian army and without him “the front line will fall.” The businessman announced that “literally called Putin in a physical battle with one with Ukraine,” but now he is tired of “brillnya”.
Later, Poland’s foreign minister, Radoslav Sikorsky, replied to the mask, noting that Poland was paying for access for Ukrainian units.
