Nearly 1,000 civilians fled the Kharkiv region

Another evacuation of residents from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region was carried out. This was announced by the head of the region Oleg Sinegubov in the Telegram on Monday, July 18.

“It is possible to conduct another evacuation from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region: 943 civilians, including 216 children … All the evacuees are in safe areas and under the Ukrainian flag .Everyone was given all the necessary assistance, “Sinegubov wrote.

He expressed his gratitude to all the services involved and dozens of volunteers for the clear coordination of actions.

Earlier, in the Donetsk region, a group of people were evacuated from the Svyatogorsk Lavra. At the same time, about 600 people continue to remain in its territory.

It was also reported that a new wave of internally displaced persons is predicted in Ukraine.
