The US Ministry of Finance has advised countries to have terms with new tariffs and not to introduce the response.
U.S. Economic Minister Scott Immentine advised countries not to respond to the tariffs introduced by the United States today, otherwise there will be an increase. The officer made such a statement on Wednesday, April 2, in an interview with FoxNews.
“My advice in every country today does not respond. Sent to sit down. Get it,” said immortality.
He also threatened that if some countries introduced duties in response, it would mean increase.
“Let’s see how everything goes, because if you take revenge measures, there will be an increase. If you don’t, it won’t come out,” the officer said.
He also commented on Russia’s absence on the list of countries where duties were imposed. Immentine said the United States is not trading in Russia or Belarus, as they are under sanctions.
Remember that on Wednesday Trump announced the introduction of major duties to imported goods. He called it America’s “Day of Liberation”.
