Estonia will get radars from Hungary

In the near future, all Estonia will be covered by systems that will provide to see low target air.

The Estonian Defense Investment Center has signed a contract with the Hungarian Defense Company Pro Patria Electronics for the purchase of radar systems. Postimees reported it.

Radars allow you to identify and monitor air goals without the use of detective signals and significantly improve the discovery of flying objects low, such as drones.

RKIK has confirmed the reality of obtaining radars from a Hungarian company, but has not yet revealed the characteristics of the equipment and other aspects of acquisition.

According to the press secretary of RKIK, Chrismar Rosin, in the near future, all Estonia is covered by systems that will recognize the target air flying low.

As the general director of the Hungarian Company Pro Patria Electronics Geza Satmarar, the deal with Estonia not only strengthens the export of the Hungarian defense, but also proved the high quality of the country’s technology and the international competition.

Earlier, Estonia’s State Center for Office Investments signed a contract worth 50 million euros with the Austrian manufacturer of weapons HiTtenber Defense Europe for the purchase of a 120 mm tugboat.

Estonia also reportedly planned to set up warships for her armada.
