Oleksandr Tkachenko became one of the candidates for the post of chairman of the Public.
The broadcaster explained that the decision was made on the basis of the recommendations of the Committee on appointments and remuneration of officials who conducted a preliminary analysis of the submitted documents.
Tkachenko is a former Minister of Culture, an exvator of 1+1 media, the deputy Verkhovna of the Rada of the Iks of the convocations from the party “Servant of People”, not far from Igor Kolomoisk. He became one of the six applicants for the post of chairman of the Council of the Public.
The list of candidates was published by the supervisory board of the public broadcaster.
The preparatory stage of competitive selection for the post of chairman of the board of directors has already been carried out. According to its results, all six applicants were accepted to the first stage of competitive selection:
- Volodymyr Gorkovenko (former journalist and member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting, he smoked information areas in the administration of Petro Poroshenko),
- Tkachenko Alexander Vladislavovich (cultural excerpts),

- Harebina Oleksandr vladimirovich (former journalist and publisher, operating director Vetek-Media Kurchenko and expert on the information policy of the Zelensky election company.
