Russia has used a scheme with fake insurance certificates so that its shade fleet is free to pass through NATO’s water in the Baltic Sea. This is stated in a joint investigation in Danwatch and NRK.
Thus, at least 76 Russian tanks received fake documents from the laughter company Ro Marine, who imposed himself as Norwegian, but among Russian citizens Andrei Mochalin.
Journalists found that the company did not conduct financial transactions, there was only one employee with Bulgaria citizenship and used a fake Norwegian Financial Supervision Department (FSA) license.
Norwegian police are now investigating possible bypassing penalties. The accusations were made by Mochalin, the Bulgarian co -Founder and two Norwegian businessmen.
The investigation revealed that the RO Marine released fake insurance for 255 ships, and then exposed even adding a new tanker to the register. Eight Russian oil tanks that have freely passed checks on the Gulf of Finland, though their certificates are not true.
Denmark and other NATO countries are preparing for coordination of actions against such schemes. Experts are warning that such scams are disturbing the International Security System of Naval Transport and threatening environmental disasters.
