The statement about the loss of Melnikova to Polish law enforcement agencies was submitted by Pavel Latushko, the head of another opposition structure of Belarusian – the National Anti -Crisis administration.
“We expect the best, but we understand that the first people of Belarus’s democratic forces are the main goals of the special services of the regimes in Belarus and Russia,” Latushko said.
According to him, Melnikova has stopped since March 25, but at the request of law enforcement officials this information will not be disclosed within hours. Together with Melnikova, she lost her children – daughter 6 and 12 years old, where the woman lives in Warsaw. On the eve of disappearance, he complained about a health deterioration – inflammation of the lungs as a result of covid disease.
According to the publication, Angelica Melnikova may have been able to leave Poland’s territory.
“He flew from the EU to the UK, after which he lost his trace,” the journalists wrote.
